I'm staying with my brother, mark, and his fiancee, sarah. sarah has an eight year old son named anthony, and he's letting me borrow his room tonight. he's just about to turn in for the night, but stops at the door by his hamster cage. Have you seen phil? He asks. phil is short for Phillies, by the way, because the kid is baseball-obsessed. and also the phillies are being pretty awesome right now. anyway. Thirty things i did/saw/ate over my thirtieth birthday weekend:. 1 welcomed kathryn [. To chicago for the first time! It had been far too long since we'd seen each other, and even longer since we saw each other at someplace other than the mays landing diner. :o). 2 ate super delicious chipotle chicken/steak fajita burrito bowl. 3 laughed until i cried.

We say were from Philadelphia, but were really not that close. Phoenix returning to ashes? No mention of this on here yet.the demise of the Phoenix? The venerable newspaper is apparently turning into a once-a-week free weekend paper, while any PVille news will apparently be covered by the Daily Local News (and not the Mercury surprisingly). Only one of them was for obama. The rest were for local elections for people I never heard of. I forgot all about that. I need to do some research to see who I should be voting for. Here are all the details, for those who care:. Fly from O'Hare to Logan, arriving 1:40 pm on 12/9. Take either the T or the hotel shuttle (I haven't decided) to the Doubletree Club Boston Bay. Do something or other in Boston for a few days. Around noon Friday the 11th, take the T to Harvard Square and rent a car.

Oh, right, this thing - Hating Amazon.com since November, 2009. September 2nd, 2010. Oh, right, this thing. As you probably realize, I totally forgot this thing existed. With Facebook and Twitter, it's hard to find motivation to post things here. Is there anybody who cares about me at all who doesn't read those? Because you probably should. Anyway, not much new, although we are having another kid in March, which I suppose is good, except for the fact that we're going to lose our minds. Alas.
