Saturday, December 20, 2008. We had an adventuresome Holiday this year. Patty and Mahlon came with Rachel on Saturday, and by Sunday we had over a foot of snow. Mahlon had no problems getting around so he went and got the kids so we could all be together. . We had fun walking about the neighborhood. On May 15th Hendrik Koopman (age 16) of North Bend was seriously injured while dirt biking with friends in Roslyn, Washington. Hendrik’s injuries are extensive and will require him to be in the hospital for an extended period of time. All proceeds will go to the Koopman family to help with Hendrik’s medical costs. We did have a great Holiday in spite of the weather. There were several times we had to dig out of the ditch. We're in debt to quite a few people for pushing, pulling, and digging us out.
