Well, I was unhappy using someone else’s theme and quite frankly, configuring it was way more complicated than necessary. February 21, 2017. Time for a Refresh. My website’s appearance and content has been stagnant for many a year now. The demands of family, work, and hobbies don’t allow for much time to upkeep, much less improve, my home on the web. I’m not big on resolutions, but updating my website did make a list of things to do in 2017. February 2, 2017.

Who am I and where did my ancestors come from? Swiss, Welch, Scots-Irish and Native American. Why do a website? For more than 20 years I have been collecting information on my family. I have reached a point where I should write a book or create a website. Books are nice but much of the data become stale in a short while. A website can be dynamic and can be updated with a minimum of effort. My paternal ancestors include Ferguson, Roer (Rorrer), Irick, Marcum, Damron, Copley, Handy and Clay.

Random thoughts about nothing (usually) so special. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Procedure and ruby script to remove duplicated tracks from iPod in Last.fm client before scrobbling. Since I bought an iPod Touch, it became my main Last.fm scrobbler device. However, I am facing a recurrent problem, every track that I listen in my iPod is scrobbled between 2 and 20 times with the same timestamp! The picture bellow shows the result:. Lots of people are facing the same problem, but I did not find any solution yet.
