Monday, December 10, 2012. It was one of the iconic TV series of the ‘60s and, for one that reveres both the decade and the various products of mass entertainment OF that decade as much I do, I can’t help but wonder why GET SMART and I have been separated for so long. 8221;, “. inchoatia: May 2005

Like watching paint dry, only slightly funnier. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Is being transgressive really enough? Okay okay, you know me, you know I generally laugh at notions of "good taste," and in any case, we're all aware that half the point of The Onion is that it has absolutely no compunctions about going ANYWHERE for a joke, and that the very willingness to do that is frequently the funniest thing. Nonetheless: Jesus CHRIST, dude. Posted by GeoX's Nemesis, the Mysterious XoeG at 9:50 PM. One of the mos...

(Some of) Ryan Wynns' Assorted Thoughts: New comic review: Donald Duck #2 (#369) (IDW, June 2015)
http://ryanwynns.blogspot.com/2015/07/new-comic-review-donald-duck-2-369-idw.html
Some of) Ryan Wynns' Assorted Thoughts. Thursday, July 30, 2015. 2 (#369) (IDW, June 2015). Blackout gag flavor. Still, with Donald taking up Gideon on his job offer at the story's beginning, I felt that Donald was stepping across the threshold on a Hero's Journey. and yet after all is said and done, it seems that we're supposed to take the idea of him ever being a successful investigative reporter as a joke. It's safe to say that this is decidedly NOT a "mastery story". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

inchoatia: December 2004
http://inchoatia.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Like watching paint dry, only slightly funnier. Friday, December 31, 2004. Yeah, I couldn't do a real "best/worst of" thing even if I wanted to, given how little exposure I ever have to new stuff. Whuddever! I'll just list some random crap in no particular order. Best album: Nick Cave&the Bad Seeds, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus. Seriously. You don't think there's any way in hell a new Cave album is not going to suck? Runner-up: Tom Waits, Real Gone. Worst album: Leonard Cohen, Dear Heather. Man, I'...

Bridging the gap among all forms of entertainment! Tip from Home: Adventures of Tip and Oh is the Young Black Female Lead We Need Right Now. On August 24, 2016. Home: Adventures of Tip and Oh. Is based on the Dreamworks film. A buggered, incomplete piece of animation that never quite grasped the satirical edge needed to portray the abject and complete removal of citizens into makeshift suburban prisons. I know. I wish. E did little to ease that discomfort from my mind. Adventures of Tip and Oh. 8211; a s...

Some of) Ryan Wynns' Assorted Thoughts. Thursday, July 30, 2015. 1 (#310) (IDW, June 2015). I didn’t realize that Casty had started only writing and not drawing some of his stories. Is that for scheduling reasons? Or because as he envisioned this story, it was in Cavazzano’s style? And either way, does it mean that a story he doesn’t both write and draw isn’t as much his baby? However, he did draw the cover:. But Mickey and Goofy prove worthy partners in her adventure, weathering its perils just as well:.

Theatrically Speaking: November 2016

Sunday, November 27, 2016. Kirjailija, opettaja Tommi Kinnunen. Kirjoitti pari viikkoa sitten mainion kolumnin. Olen itse kirjoittanut samasta aiheesta. Enkä voisi olla vahvemmin samaa mieltä. En toki väitä, etteikö kuka tahans...
