We followed a mountain bike trail to Thredbo Diggings campground, where we had morning tea next to the Thredbo River. We then followed a track next to the gurgling and fast flowing stream to Bullocks Hut, which was once the home and holiday playground for a well off Sydney doctor. After circling Crackenback resort we returned to our lodge on the mountain. Wednesday, 4 December 2013.

Despite Sandy's warning of very cold weather and need of many extra layers, we had to shed layers as we climbed. Despite the weather warming up dramatically, there was still some snow on the mountain, which made the scenery picturesque and the walk across challenging. Morning tea at Mt Kosciusko lookout.
