Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Just some little things keeping me smiling this week. Sampling our first ever freshly picked apples. A hot tip received last week. Led us to a clump of plum trees, all ripe and ready for a picking. In a quiet lane on the outskirts of town. We may just happen to be passing by this particular spot this time again next year. More fresh local produce, walnuts and homemade carrot cake. Crochet covering rocks (pattern here. Peaceful sleeps in new vintage floral. Links to this post.

Gooseberry Jam: For pegs
http://gooseberryjamman.blogspot.com/2014/07/for-pegs.html
Monday, July 14, 2014. A strap of Vintage sheet, a fold and pleat of an Aussie tea towel. And there you have it. On my To DO list for ages has been to make myself a Peg Apron. I usually were a tuckshop apron when I hang out the washing. But I find the pockets are a little bit small and. I'm continually filling up my pockets from the peg basket,. It kind of defeats the whole purpose really. I'd love to take the credit for creating this beauty myself. You'd like this one Zara. July 14, 2014 at 9:10 AM.

TODAY AT PLAY: We sang multi cultural children's songs
http://todayatplay.blogspot.com/2013/06/we-sang-multi-cultural-childrens-songs.html
Sunday, June 9, 2013. We sang multi cultural children's songs. Do you have any songs you sing regularly that are from other cultures? Each term we pick around 12 to 15 songs that we sing regularly so that they all become very familiar and turn into our favourites. We don't sing them all every week - we sing about 4 and always include one familiar song like "Der Glumph went the little green frog". This term, for our new songs, we have chosen a few multicultural songs. We circle around, we circle around.

TODAY AT PLAY: Everybody ate an egg
http://todayatplay.blogspot.com/2011/08/blog-post.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. Everybody ate an egg. We had hard boiled eggs for morning tea - one each, and everyone tried them. The children were fascinated watching the grownups peeling the eggs and they waited patiently to have their first bite. I know people usually do craft with egg cartons. October 25, 2011 at 1:05 PM. That sounds like lots of fun! I have never thought to let my children peel their own egg! Thanks for linking up to Friday Funny. xx. April 10, 2012 at 8:56 PM. September 4, 2014 at 3:37 PM.
