Lilacs4Angels: Ironic?
http://lilacs4angels.blogspot.com/2014/01/ironic.html
Wednesday, January 1, 2014. I do hope everyone is safe. We've done a bit of rearranging of furniture and unpacking a few boxes today. Now it's time to take a break. I washed a blanket that hubby had picked up somewhere for Shivers (as if he doesn't already have enough blankets). When I was folding it I saw the label. I find it quite ironic that the blanket was made by the Faribault Woolen Mill Company, here in the USA. The label very clearly states that is is 100% ACRYLIC. Think it's time to go knit a bit.

Lilacs4Angels: February 2012
http://lilacs4angels.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Spring is in the air! Well it looks as though Spring is here! On our walk yesterday we passed by our local 'duck' pond. There were quite a few baby ducks swimming around. It's really too bad that the city pumped most of the water out. As you can see there were some who 'got away'. There were about 5 ducks walking along outside the fence. I don't know the species of this tree but isn't it beautiful? Links to this post. Friday, February 17, 2012. The Wall That Travels".

I just woke up after crashing on the sofa for a few hours when I got home….long day! I was checking messages and came across the most fascinating story about the Svalsbard Global Seed Vault. Daily Fiber Adventures with Wildhare. 8/29/08 – Melissa the Scarf! August 29, 2008 at 6:30 pm. Another knitter/etsy seller has named a series of scarves after me! How cool is that! You can get the same results with seed stitch, which may make an edge more to your liking:. Once you’ve done that, the edge should look like this (front and back shown):. In this edge treatment, the curl is confined to the three edge stitches, which are secured by a vertical row of eyelets, so it ain’t going nowhere! Like the ...

Lilacs4Angels: October 2012
http://lilacs4angels.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 21, 2012. Okay, so I was browsing Pinterest earlier this week. I came across a scrumptious looking 'recipe', shall we say. So, taking their start I came up with my own version. Grilled mushrooms and garlic.then I grilled, in the same pan, a roll (sort of like one you'd use for french dip hubby bought the pack and I wasn't going to say anything. The "original" used a chibatta.). And now they are out soaking up a bit of sun. Links to this post. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Links to this post.
