This was the first movie Sean sat through from beginning to end. I was pleasantly surprised with how great the movie was. The songs are still in my head and Olaf the snowman is hilarious. My Life in Words. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. My boys are puzzle geniuses-. Sean does 100 piece puzzles several times a DAY. He hands me the box and says that he doesn't need to see the picture anymore, haha. Bradley does 48 pieces, which is quite insane for a 2 year old. My Life in Words. Monday, August 5, 2013. More visitors came and this time it was Mona and her family! We were able to make the most of their week with us by taking trips to the park, Wing Lake, and celebrating my dad's birthday at his favorite restaurant, Mongolian BBQ. We also had a sisters' Zumba class where Mona helped teach Sab's class. Lastly we had an adults' dinner at 220 in Birmingham. Here is a cute picture of our boys at Firefighters Park. My Life in Words. Sunday, April 12, 2015. We skipped out on the Easter Bunny this year. Every weekend has been busy with events or just me too busy with lesson planning. We still had a great Easter. The kids and us parents found our Easter baskets the morning of. Bradley got a bigger present than usual with a Spider Man bike. Sean got a mini cash register and calculator. My Life in Words. Friday, January 3, 2014. It is at Flemings Steakhouse. One of the partners had Matt take me out because he was impressed with Matt's commitment to a particular case he was trying. Anyways, I ordered the scallops small plate and the modern Caesar salad. The scallops were great and the salad was AMAZING. It had prosciutto chips and fried capers that went perfectly with the traditional flavors. Yum! This was our second time at Flemings and we will be going back again sometime.

Matt graciously helped me take down cabinets ON Father's Day. What a dad! I have begun the staining process of turning the horrible oak cabinets into beautiful dark espresso. My Life in Words. Wednesday, February 5, 2014. After moving in, in October 2013, we have done a few things to the house that we thought were necessary. Although our house is a great location, great layout and in great condition (structure wise), it needs a lot of updating. It is straight out of the 70s! As of today, we updated the family room carpet and door, our kitchen floor (YES! And patio door, and our mud room floor. We also bought Sean a new bedroom set today! Sean's new bed (from art van website).
