They drop all their ¨s¨ sounds. All of which makes it very difficult to understand at first. There was a huge wreck in Dallas they were showing on the news this morning where a 18-wheeler jumped the median into oncoming traffic. Any of you hear about it? I met my Speaking Partner on Friday. Her name is Dani, she´s my age and is studying philosophy at UNC (Universidad Nacional de Cordoba). She seems really nice and has invited me over for breakfast tomorrow at her apartment. Oh! Yesterday was Friend's Day. Yep, a day for friends. They also have Children's Day to complement Mother and Father's Day, and a Student's Day when the high school and university students get the day off from classes. I just need to learn to accept both parts of the experience, and not let the tiny negatives overshadow the great things happening in my life right now. But on to more concrete things. And on to the gastronomic section of this post. We also ate at a place called Gran Bar Danzon, which had both great sushi and meat dishes, so if you ever go to BA I recommend it.
