CLOSURE OF THE ORION CINEMA. With effect from 30 June 2013, the Orion Cinema on RAAF Base Edinburgh will close. The closure is as a result of the low patronage and declining availability of 35mm film for use in the current aged existing projection equipment. Monday - Thursday: 1630-1930 hrs. Friday: 1430 - 1930 hrs. The Lounge has various seating and tables along with T.V., FOXTEL, DVD and Pool Table. Located within the Lounge Area. The Beer Garden has tables and seating with protecion from the weather. There are two barbeques located within, which are available for use for private functions. Smoking is permitted within the Beer Garden when the blinds are rolled up. However, if the blinds are down there is a section of the garden not enclosed for smoking.
