Natacion: Seattle
http://natacionmexicana.blogspot.com/2008/02/seattle.html
Friday, February 1, 2008. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to race in Seattle. It was in a long course pool and the meet was not really a very challenging one, because of the level, but the main idea was to race long course and see where we were at. Overall I realized I need to improve my finishes and keep working on my speed. I am now back into a hard working schedule and will race again on the 17th of this month. I will keep you updated. "NOTHING." A perfect taper! I have learned so much from the Canadians that I am so excited to find out how well it works. This is it. Results will be available here:. Natacion: Mexican Olympic Trials
http://natacionmexicana.blogspot.com/2008/05/mexican-olympic-trials.html
Saturday, May 3, 2008. Unfortunately things at Stanford did not go as planned. The good thing was that I still had one more chance to try and make the team. I left evrything behing and moved on. I flew down to Tijuana to meet with my ex-coach to see if he could bring me back to life. I spent two weeks with his family and really ref-focused on sports, specially on swimming. I want to thank them for all their help. The next day I had my race. The 50 freestyle! I am now getting ready for one last chance to ...

Natacion: Victoria
http://natacionmexicana.blogspot.com/2008/02/victoria.html
Thursday, February 21, 2008. My two best performances were the 200 freestyle and the 100 fly. It has been a while since I swam a decent 200 free. I was kind of stuck with that race, but this weekend it felt like magic. Droping one second each time you swim it is not something that happens every day, but it did to me. Good job Emilio! The other race that I finally understood the principles of it was the 100 fly. I did go a PB in this race. That just made my whole weekend! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
