Wardills of Yorkshire and beyond. Thursday, 29 April 2010. William Hawksley 1821 and Mary Jane Lowery 1820. William was born in Gainsborough in Lincolnshire and Mary born in Kingston upon Hull. William was an auctioneer and Mary a General Domestic Servant. They married at St James Church in Sutton in Kingston upon Hull in December 1840. William and Mary went on to have 10 children who were all born in Kingston upon Hull. Emily 1861 married James Mearns in 1881 at St Lukes Church in Kingston upon Hull.
