Replication of Asch (1951) | EmilyChristonPsychology

https://emilychristonpsychology.wordpress.com/2013/02/24/replication-of-asch-1951

Skip to primary content. Replication of Asch (1951). February 24, 2013. Asch (1951) believed that conformity was a rational process in which people work out how to behave from other peoples actions. He conducted an experiment that showed what would happen when people were confronted with a majority who were plainly wrong in their judgments, to see if they would change their own views to conform to the majority. We also did a take on this experiment, using the same aims and investigations.

An interesting study to continue from this is to use a hand-written informal sign in a school setting and seeing if the obedience rates drop or stay the same. If they obedience rates drop this suggests that is it the sign which is effecting peoples judgement but if they stay the same it may suggest other factors such as the school setting. They were all human, interlopers trying their luck at braving the deadly terrain. She was currently perched in a tree, not even needing to camouflage herself. They wouldn't see her anyway. Tiger, are you going to take care of them? She sighed as the familiar mind touched hers. You aren't doing much just staring at them. Moth and Viper already took care of those bodies.". Old Sil...
