Tanatomically Correct: July 2010
http://tanatomicallycorrect.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Eminently practical and yet appropriate as always. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Mixed greens with fried prosciutto and paneer in a cara cara vinaigrette. Tonight, I threw together. A salad from things lying about the fridge. It gave me a chance to practice the technique of segmenting oranges, and to write about paneer. A fresh cheese so easy to make yourself you'll wonder why no one told you sooner. Paneer, aka fresh cheese (see below). A cara cara orange, segmented. A whack of mixed greens. You'll be left ...

Seeds & Applesauce: Batter Up
http://heknowswords.blogspot.com/2007/01/batter-up.html
Tuesday, January 23, 2007. I can confidently write without hesitation that in stepping away from the blog for the past 5 months or so that I no longer think anyone reads this. I always wanted just a journal online, and though at first it was fun to hunt readers, link off others and try my darndest to capture even a 10th of paige's audience, after a year and a bit it just got awkward. In one simple expression to describe my anxiety towards blogs come last spring - BLAAAURGGHAAH. Seeds and Applesauce is my...

Monday, November 21, 2005. Eric's cookies, take three. Admittedly, eric's cookies take two were fairly tasty, and as round as you would expect a cookie to be. however, the third batch was less fortunate. Ps that is our driveway. Posted by Claudia @ 8:31 PM. Friday, November 18, 2005. A short picture story. This is eric, one of my roommates. he's shy. Eric likes to make food. He tried to make cookies. These are eric's cookies. Posted by Claudia @ 2:08 PM. Wednesday, November 16, 2005. I don't know why, bu...

Friday, March 17, 2006. My last st. patrick's day @ UWO. 9:30am - wake up. 12pm - leave for the Wave (on campus bar) with roomie. 12:20pm - line up, bitch out a really annoying guy in front of me. 12:40pm - get into the Wave, start drinking. 3pm - eat nacho fries, mmmmm nacho fries. 4pm - jam to rick mcghie. 6:30pm - leave the Wave, stumble home, make long distance phone calls to Nicholas. 7pm - arrive home, chat on MSN. 7:30pm - lose consciousness due to a severe case of horizontality. 8 What is your fa...

Thursday, May 22, 2008. I live here now. Http:/ yourtreelooksthirsty.tumblr.com. Sorry blogger. im sure you wont notice im gone. Posted by mr. tomas ubik @ Thursday, May 22, 2008. Seeds and Applesauce is my forum for the thoughts that muse the development of self and the nonsense that finds its way in between my self-enlightenment. For no other reason than a self-righteous need to express, I present you my thoughts on whatever the hell strings itself together from my brain into consciousness.

Wednesday, June 21, 2006. You know what I like about Canada; Its the only country where you will see two of those little nationality flags on the same car. No other nation would have a family mini van sporting England for the Dad on the driver side, and Trinidad on the passenger side for the mum. I saw that exact scenario yesterday, actually they were driving a mazda. And now back to the game. Posted by mr. tomas ubik @ Wednesday, June 21, 2006. Undecided, Ontario, Canada. Seeds & Applesauce: Toe-may-toe
http://heknowswords.blogspot.com/2006/07/toe-may-toe.html
Friday, July 21, 2006. I hate the social reprocussions of toppings. I go to the deli counter to get a sandwich made and they ask what I would like. I say that some prosciutto, some lettuce, a nice havarti, and a little mustard would be splendid. Sir, I am asked, would you like tomato? No thank you, not today. end of transaction. Immediately the rest of the folk at dinner barage me with tomato based conversation, again socially bludging my meal with questions surrounding my fictional dislike of tomato.

life in the idle lane: April 2005
http://lifeintheidlelane.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2005. I am writing this entry right now to express my complete contempt for a certain breed of people who unfortunately share breathing space with the rest of us. A very good friend of mine - one who will not be named, and whose location will not be disclosed - was supposed to have a great time tonight with her friends. She missed the bus to get to her girlfriends' house so she decided to walk, since she didn't have a cell and the next bus wasn't coming for a while. And I would LOVE to...

Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Special K Vanilla Almond vs. French Toast Crunch. Which would be the healthier choice? This morning, I compared the two side-by-side (in my kitchen, not a grocery store) and found that, with the exception of one vitamin, they are essentially the same. French Toast Crunch is even slightly better than Special K in some categories. Surprised? Oh my god I'm writing about cereal, kill me now. Happy shopping, everyone. Posted by Claudia @ 11:07 AM.
