Fill up a pan with water and when it starts to boil pop your washed broccoli in (these will soften up nicely after everything else you cook is done no need to put a timer on it). Cover the pan with a top and cook on low. Slice your potatoes into thin slices keep them round slices for greater surface area. Dice up a half clove of garlic.
