Sunday, June 26, 2011. Today the Mackay household was filled with bustling and rushing - to get things packed and ready to go! There are two more kid camps coming up - girl's camp this week and Scout camp next week. Once we got home from church Erin was dabbling around with this and that, then all of a sudden it seemed like a switch was thrown in her head that indicated she better get a move on because she leaves for camp tomorrow morning! Monday, January 31, 2011. Then came December 14, 2010. That is another "date that will live in infamy" with me. I was let go from my employment at Engineering Incorporated due to lack of work. It is an understatement to say that it was a big bombshell event in my life. I had never been in the place where I was ready, able and willing to work but didn't have someone to work for. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Here we are at the end of March already! Here's another thing to bring joy; I won our family bracket! Sunday, March 20, 2011. And the Winner is. Fast forward now to Jason: we made 3 cars for him and I think he won a total of 1 race. Now fast forward more to Tyler: we made 3 cars for him and he won zero (yes, that's right none). He same design that Travis took home the trophies with! Sunday, March 13, 2011. Spring is in the Air! We'll see who's bracket turns out the best this year!

Christmas was different having to spend it halfway around the world from Brandon, but luckily for Skype it was still enjoyable. We were able to open our presents up with eachother over the computer, talk, and atleast kind of spend the holidays together. Personally, I don't think it's a look that is good for him.

He is training at the Fort Hood military base where he says it is hot and cramped. Below is a picture of where the guys are living. Sunday, April 4, 2010. Eric's Birthday / Easter. Eric was born March 26, 1979, so that makes him 31! On Saturday we went over to my Grandma and Grandpa Cooks for an Easter Egg Hunt and lunch. The kids had a great time and the food was really good! Breanne was so funny she didn't want to pick up the Eggs that she didn't like the color of, she only wanted the pretty ones! We had to shut him down early because his bucket was full in the first two min. Cute picture of the kids! Looks like all is well!
