Adventures in an igloo: Oh, those summer nights
http://bjorkthor.blogspot.com/2009/07/oh-those-summer-nights.html
Adventures in an igloo. The girl who knows who invented Post-Its. Friday, July 17, 2009. Oh, those summer nights. I think I did it last night, I really created a tropical feel up here in the north, sort of. I went to work ridiculously early so that I could go home early and enjoy the rest of the sunny summer's day. Did I stop at this? Then I completely cheated and put the almost uncooked lambchops under the grill in my oven, where the baked potatoes were, well, baking- don't tell anyone! God I miss summer.

Adventures in an igloo: The place that...

Adventures in an igloo. The girl who knows who invented Post-Its. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Started (well caused is more accurate) the slow food movement and starred in movies such as Supersize Me has left the building. I suppose Mickey D's next movie, if they ever make one on my rock, will be called Downsize Me. That would be kind of sarcastic in light of recent history wouldn't it? Posted by Björkin : 12:21 PM. Ah B, are there no Burger Kings on your rock? Love dogs and cooking (not dogs).

Adventures in an igloo: September 2005

Adventures in an igloo. The girl who knows who invented Post-Its. Thursday, September 22, 2005. My government is quite proud of this achievement and the multinational company, Alcoa, gloats at the stupidity of the greedy Eskimos . Bechtel, the company in charge of the re-building of Iraq are also constructing the Alcoa smelter and they must be cheerful as well, since aluminium is used for making weapons of war which are necessary in order to help President Bush restrain those crazy and unruly Arabs.

Adventures in an igloo. The girl who knows who invented Post-Its. Wednesday, October 12, 2005. In Mid-October I always get a little x-mas nostalgic. It’s getting pretty cold and that just makes me want to jump around in the snow and sing x-mas carols. Unfortunately there isn’t any snow in Reykjavík these days, only in the bloody North, yuck- -I curse those lucky Northerners! Posted by Björkin : 2:44 PM 5 comments. Monday, October 03, 2005. Lively Pursuits: July 2010
http://hmlively.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. So I was blog stalking this evening. Looking for inspiration. Bored with my own life, ready to read about others? Just a quite night at the DC home. Tuesdays tend to be the worst on the hubby gone front. I came across this post. I do not know this writer, but I wish I did. I very much related. Pretty amazing that you can have fellowship and not even know someone. Read this post, "Whisper Seekers". I am there. Glad to know others are there as well. Monday, July 26, 2010. Yes Luckil...

Lively Pursuits: April 2010
http://hmlively.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 18, 2010. I haven't written much lately. I think its because I haven't felt "moved" by anything. Nothing has really "grabbed" me and shaken me, taken me, enlightened me, etc. Maybe its been my state. Perhaps, not open to new things? Quite possible. Sometimes I feel hard to things. Other times like a permeable membrane, perhaps too open to everything thing/thought/idea passing my way. Both can be exhausting. Would I live my life in vain of all my Lord did for me on the cross? Then I heard a ...

DC In London: December 2008
http://dcacrossthepond.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2008. So an English Christmas has caused me to be sicky sicky. :(. One tradition we don't have, which I think we should, is Boxing Day. It's a bank holiday, so everyone has the day off. Its orgins. Bush gave us Christmas Eve off, but don't you think that's really so you can go shopping to buy last minute presents? To me Boxing Day seems more family and friends oriented- that doesn't drive business. I do enjoy the Boxing Day though. Links to this post. Monday, December 22, 2008.

DC In London: January 2009
http://dcacrossthepond.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2009. I'm on a train from Edinburgh going to London using their (shotty) WiFi. Fun. Roamed around Edinburgh for a bit, but didn't see most things because I woke up late and the sun goes away early and I don't want to be walking around a strange city in the dark by myself. I went to the Museum of Scotland. Which is ho-hum. I thing my saturation point of museums hasn't subsided since the Great Museum Saturation of 2005. When Dan got off of work, we went on a ghost tour. Mens shoes are o...
