Barullo: good omens
http://mistersuss.blogspot.com/2015/05/good-omens.html
Thursday, May 07, 2015. Pretty funny, sweethearted. This is obviously impossible to prove but I think I'd have known it was written by two people even if the authors' names hadn't been on the cover. It feels like a collaboration, like two people enjoying themselves by going back and forth to create a book that makes them laugh. Which is, in fact, what it is. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). At this point, for keeping track of books, very occasional thoughts, and journaling while i travel.

Barullo: the remains of the day
http://mistersuss.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-remains-of-day.html
Sunday, July 05, 2015. The remains of the day. Brilliant, a work of genius. To so profoundly inhabit the mind of an invented character that you can convey the character's lack of self-knowledge without beating the reader over the head with it, and while remaining humorous and enlightening throughout, is an astounding feat. Hard to believe the same man wrote this and The Buried Giant. Which is both totally different and a messy mediocrity. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://comitelatino.blogspot.com/2007/12/el-resultado-de-las-elecciones-y-su.html
