That is the question! I don't think so, but she is well on her way, cruising around everywhere. She has even started standing without holding on for 5-10 seconds. But she still has a way to go before those first steps. I don't think they're too far in our future! Links to this post. Mike and I were lucky enough to be invited to a wedding on Martha's Vineyard last weekend. We brought the kids, but left them with Mike's mom during the wedding. Everyone had a great time! Susie in the City: Saying goodbye
http://susienyc.blogspot.com/2015/08/saying-goodbye.html
My beautiful, warm, funny cousin Kolu passed away about a month ago. It's been a difficult grieving processes for me. Not only was Kolu very young, and left behind a teenage daughter and 20 year old son, but she also left behind a fiancé. She passed away just 3 weeks before she was supposed to be married. Finding the perfect spot. Allasha and Emmon (and Alice). Family, and Kolu's childhood vocal teacher. My lantern (heart drawing by Ethan). Getting the lanterns ready. Lighting the first one. The next mor...

Susie in the City: Chatting
http://susienyc.blogspot.com/2015/03/chatting.html
I'm laughing because alice is supposed to be napping (our third attempt today) but she's just talking away to herself. I hear her saying "Mama: no no no. Dada: sit down! Is she imitating us? THIS is what I found when I checked to see if she needed her diaper changed. Oy. New York, New York, United States. View my complete profile. Adventures in Applied Math. Hailey and Riley's Page. I'm writing this post so that in a few years I will read it and say,"what an idiot! Links to this post. What we do when daddys not home. Not that daddy wouldn't enjoy snuggling and watching a movie, but we had an early dinner, and it gave me a chance to put Alice to bed while they were occupied. Only downside is no story time, but I guess that's ok once in a while :). Links to this post. Links to this post. Today, the stickiest, most humid and disgusting day of the year, was also the first day of soccer!

Ev got her yellow belt today. Go ev! Links to this post. Alice has been enjoying this toy we recently got out for her. She loves the beads on top but can't pull herself up quite yet. But she will let you stand her next to and and will play for hours! Links to this post. Today was a mom fail kind of a day. This morning, I let Evelyn play on the iPad for 3 hours. 3 hours? What the heck was I doing? Where did the time go? Luckily, I can try to do better tomorrow. It's a daily battle, but one that I think is...

Links to this post. Someone is starting to get interested in rolling! She's not *quite* there yet, but definitely showing some interest! Links to this post. Well, technically, a little over 4 months. We had to wait a week for Alice's doctor appointment because she had a fever. But now we have her measurements! She's a whopping 15lbs 4 oz and 24-3/4 inches long, both in the 75th%. Her head circumference is 17, also in the 75th. So she's growing beautifully! Links to this post. View my complete profile.

Evelyn just gave me a kiss and said I love you so much. I'm not going to give up on you. I'm not going to get a new mom. Which makes me wonder. Was she considering giving up on me and getting a new mom? Links to this post. Slept through the night. Unfortunately, Ethan's school called and texted at 5:22 this morning, so I did not. But Alice slept from 9:30pm to 7:30am! It makes life so much better. Links to this post. Links to this post. And, as you can see below, is well loved by her brother and sister :).

It's hard to believe, but Alice is (almost) three months! She was supposed to have her checkup tomorrow, but because of the impending snow storm, we went today instead. She is 23-1/4 inches (50th%) and 13 lbs 2 oz (75th%) and her head circumference is in the 75th% as well. Links to this post. My first attempt at maple candy using maple syrup and snow (I used this recipe http:/ m.wikihow.com/Make-Candy-from-Snow). It was ok. Tastes a bit like taffy, which I don't love. Links to this post.
