Peter Von Brown: Post Posting Blues
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2014/01/post-posting-blues.html
Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Yes, I am still alive. Yes, I am still working on the same projects. So why have I been absent? It became rather a downer to post. It seems that all I'd been doing is ranting about something or other and why it does or does not bother me. I don't see the need to berate online anymore, I suppose. And even when I praised, it would seem to lose luster or turn against me. For instance, I'd had a post about the MTV series Teen Wolf. For example) so as to not warrant the review?

Peter Von Brown: April 2013
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 19, 2013. Play THIS One on the Pipes, Pan! Among a train of thought, the meaning of the name Peter came back to me. It is, of course, rock or stone. Then a line from a song bounced in immediately after. Despite the fact that it seems as if it would, this line does not readily pop into my head whenever Peter/rock comes up. The line is:. I am a rock, I am an island. How could my next thought NOT be Peter Pan? Just a picture of an island -. Not suggesting this is the Neverland! I Am a Rock.

Peter Von Brown: Revising MySELF & My Work...
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2013/07/revising-myself-my-work.html
Saturday, July 13, 2013. Revising MySELF and My Work. What have I been up to? I’ve been rather busy in both the areas of pleasure and work. First off, I suppose I should talk about the drawing here. Obviously it’s just the ‘cartoon’ of me from up on the left tweaked to reflect my new haircut. I didn't seem know what to do with it these days, and I’d been letting it grow out. A few months back the joy of it became a chore and -sinp- cut. I'd rekindled my passion for hats. He suggested I go shorter. I̵...

Peter Von Brown: March 2013
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 24, 2013. But I'd actually been writing both of them at the same time. I'd bounce back and forth from the mid-past to the far-future from the story that began on stage. Well, a little while ago I felt an itch to bounce (Calm down, Pogocat! Back onto the magical planet. But that's just on paper. The tale is all there, just needs to be told. So it looks like it might get a little inky for me in the future. Plenty to splash onto paper. even if it is sometimes virtual. Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Peter Von Brown: LEFT with the RIGHT Answer
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2013/08/left-with-right-answer.html
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. LEFT with the RIGHT Answer. On which hand does the captain have a hook instead? This is one (among many) pet peeves I have regarding people’s perception of the Peter Pan story. Seemingly invariably, people tend to be wrong. Most likely because of the majority of Captain Hook depictions on stage and screen. Usually they show the left hand with the claw. Well, it’s likely that would-be Hooks can’t swordfight with their left hand. So it’s a detail that’s switched. Yet when it’...

Peter Von Brown: May 2013
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 19, 2013. Scooby DONE, It Again! I’ve expressed before how delighted I am with the latest incarnation of Scooby Doo, Mystery Incorporated. Now has come the time to report on it once again. And what a treat. The show’s return surprised me. TiVo of course knew it would be on and voila, it appeared. Then another, every day thereafter for a while. I noticed two things. Well, the overall story being told seemed to be drawing to a close. Especially due to the other bit I noticed. I love Finite Cart...

Peter Von Brown: September 2012
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 23, 2012. Scooby-Doo It Some More. Way back in this post. I expounded on the latest incarnation of eveybody's favorite enigma-solving and ghost chasing pooch -. This is a quick status update. I’d spoken of how it has brought a much needed new element to the Scooby-verse - a narrative story arc. Well, it hasn’t lost sight of that. Far from it. It’s not only kept it up, but has layered it upon itself. What on earth do I mean? And then there’s Zoey, who watches it peripherally when h...

Peter Von Brown: July 2012
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 28, 2012. Two screen caps merged together). Last night, along with billions of others, Buttercup and Gil and I watched the Opening Ceremonies for the 2012 Olympics. Imagine my surprise when this picture came on the screen! That's right, a line from Barrie's masterpiece. And correct, thank goodness. (Meaning with no "star" in the directions.). Thursday, July 26, 2012. Well, folks, my main editor/proofer/test subject beyond the justifiably harsh (yet very satisfied! She could have just read.

Peter Von Brown: June 2012
http://petervonbrown.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. Are you ready for another take on Peter Pan? Okay, then, how about the Lost Boys? No, not the vampire movie inspired by Barrie's tale. The actual band of boys that followed Peter without question. Well, they're being called into question themselves now. Fox Television and Imagine TV are bringing. The League of Pan. Could be fun. Wonder if Pan will show up, no? I don't now either. Perhaps we should take heart, for Fox handled Barrie quite well in the past with. The League of Pan.
