In first grade, we are focusing on the following questions:. Who are the characters? Where is the story taking place? Is this story realistic or make-believe? How do you know? What happened first, next, and last? What problem did they have? How did they solve their problem? What is the main idea? What is the theme or big idea? Thanks for all you do!
