Fitness Results – Week ending 2/17/08. February 18, 2008 at 12:48 pm. I had another good week. This is my 3rd straight week of hitting over seven hours of exercise. A week. My cycling is starting to pick up, both in spin classes and outside. I roughly cycled 60%, walked 20%, and strength trained 20%. It was a good mix. Here is my workout logbook. 2007 Resolutions | Fitness Over Forty
https://fitnessoverforty.wordpress.com/2007-resolutions
My fitness goals for 2007:. 1) Weigh less than 200 pounds – or 10% bodyfat if it comes first. (I weighed 255 at my biggest and 239 at the beginning of the year). 2) Blood Pressure at or below 120/80. Currently as high as 160/100. 3) Bicycle 4,000 miles – which averages about 80 a week (I cycled 2,000 miles in 2006 ). Is planning on doing his second ironman in 2007 and he plans on 600 hours – I figure half of that ought to be about right for me. I want to finish it). 6) This ride was canceled for 2007.

Coaching Girls Volleyball 101 – Forearm Passing. April 26, 2007 at 8:16 am. This post is about Forearm Passing (aka bumping):. There are four major keys to the Forearm Pass:. Arrive (Hop to the Spot). The player should arrive at the spot before the volleyball. The player should plant their feet as they arrive so that it gives them a solid base (this looks like a little hop). Legs should be bent giving the player a lower center of gravity – hence more balance. Face the Incoming Ball. Tilt to the Target.
