A Perpetual State of Autumn. A blog of outdoor reflections. Fly fishing fruitlessly in mangroves. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Four hours.one fish. What a ratio! Oh well, I'll use the old cliché saying.I don't care how many I catch, it’s just being out there that counts. If that were the case I'd go "out there" without my fishing rod.at any rate, it sounds nice. Here is a pic of the one that didn't get away, complete with another cliché, the old "fly rod in the teethe pose! March 26, 2012 at 5:32 AM. A Quite ...

http://lunkerhunt.blogspot.com/2012/02/turn-out-lights-partys-over.html

And when this next party is over we will look back, appreciate the amazing opportunity. February 19, 2012 at 9:03 AM. What a great experience...

Sharing my trailcam pics and experiences from the Massanutten Mountains and the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Sunday, January 26, 2014. I’ve always enjoyed hunting on foggy mornings. These pics are from several weeks ago before we went into the deep freeze. Sunday, January 19, 2014. Sunday, January 5, 2014.

Sharing my trailcam pics and experiences from the Massanutten Mountains and the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Monday, October 28, 2013. One of the many rock slides on the side of the mountain. National Forest corner marker. Debating whether we really want to do this. The picture doesn't show it well but the big rock in the middle is balanced on the small one below it. Sep 19, 2014. Where oh where have you been? I must apologize for my long absence and my neglect of my blog. Work and outside commitments has been flat out crazy this spring and summer and still crazy going into the fall but I will do my best to get back to some sort of regular posting here. I hope everyone enjoyed their summer and found time to get outdoors!

My husband, his mother, and I went for a walk this morning. We followed our usual path—Zack and I walked up the steep hill to his mom’s place and then the three of us headed past my son Jubal’s trailer and up the long driveway and through the gate to the “upper end.”.
