My sweetie pie bumble B is crawling now at 8 months! I'm so proud of him! Big boy is also getting his first two teeth at the same time. I got him that amber teething necklace because I had heard so many people rave about them. I dunno, seems like a bunch of hocus pocus but I guess time will tell. I paid 20 bucks for it, it better stop his whining! Hehe, just kidding, he's actually done very well, been sleeping through the whole night still). Why wasn't this around when my girls were teething? Follow the Hills: a big ole update....

http://www.followthehills.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-big-ole-update.html

A big ole update. Alright, so if I'm not the worst blogger ever, then I don't know who is. A lot has happened since I posted last. Since Benjamin's birth (we so very lovingly call him B for short), a whole lot has happened with our family. Grandma and Ben in the airport on the way to LA! I mean, who wouldn't want to live in one of the coolest cities on the planet for a couple years? Hanging out at a mall in Glendale, CA. May 2013. The girls playing on Venice Beach. May 2013. But overall we've just been e...

Follow the Hills: preschool homeschool

http://www.followthehills.blogspot.com/2013/08/preschool-homeschool.html

Those that know me know that I am a pretty big proponent of homeschooling for many reasons. I have wanted to homeschool my children since before I was even married, even though I was never homeschooled myself. Now that Charlotte is official preschool age, I guess I need to step it up a bit in terms of the schooling. :) I consider myself more of a "better late than early" believer as it relates to education and really just following the child's lead. Earlier this spring I ordered the Sonlight P4/5. Alrigh...

Follow the Hills: Gettin' skinny!

http://www.followthehills.blogspot.com/2013/08/gettin-skinny.html

I just wanted to post a little bit about my weight loss! But anyways, that doesn't matter now. At about 6 months post partum, I realized that my body had lost naturally all the weight it was going to lose on its own and that I'd have to work to get the rest off. Boo hiss! I still had 40-50 pounds I needed to lose. How depressing! Which uses compound lifts that work multiple muscle groups to get more done in less time. I love it! Now for some before/after pictures. Follow the Hills: Benjamin's Home Birth Story :)

http://www.followthehills.blogspot.com/2012/12/benjamins-home-birth-story.html

Benjamin's Home Birth Story :). I've had several people request I write it out so I think I will do it now while it is so fresh in my mind. Benjamin Thomas Hill was born at home at 6:25am after 24 hrs of labor. Before I had him, I had weeks of prodromal (false) labor and 2 nights before I had him, I had a very long bout of false/early labor that made me really think "this is it.". To make an extremely long story short. :). Honestly, from about 10pm until about 4am, the story was much the same. Have a...

Saturday, August 25, 2012. We are ONE WEEK away from College Football kick-off! Needless to say, after a wonderful summer break and starting back to school I'm ready for Saturday's on the Plains! Seth and I have been purchasing season tickets for about 7 years now and starting 4 years ago, when I was pregnant, we started purchasing 3 tickets so that Janie Ann would be able to go with us. Here are the pictures of her with her tickets every year! It is crazy how much she changes from year to year! Seth and...

Saturday, September 29, 2012. Can we say slacker? So, I made a promise that I would update the blog weekly and I failed. I'm sorry to my readers (if I have any! With the start of school and football season, along with Janie Ann's weekly dance lessons, time spent on the computer has decreased and time spent in the road has increased! I am loving life right now, though and would not change it for the world! I'm so excited to see her face when we set it up! Anyways- here are a few pictures of last weekend!

The Clarks: Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

http://finallybuildingahome.blogspot.com/2013/01/goodbye-2012-hello-2013.html

Thursday, January 3, 2013. Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013! Here is a little recap of 2012. granted most of it is the negative, I did end on a positive note! 2012- one word- tough. But we made it. And overall it wasn’t really that bad, but at different times it was extremely tough and I questioned myself and God, a lot. I know I should never question God, but I did and I learned that He has a plan for me and my family and I just have to trust that His plan is the correct plan for me. Nervous—oh, boy YES! Anyway...

http://finallybuildingahome.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Monday, September 9, 2013. A lot has happened since my last post! Janie Ann learned to swim this summer without her life jacket, she went water skiing for the first time (and did a GREAT job! And we also found out that Janie Ann is going to be a BIG SISTER! I went to many doctor appointments, blood work and finally in June- with my mother-in-law by me (because my mom had to go back to Reno), we heard the heartbeat of our precious new baby. Needless to say, tears were everywhere! Due to my previous miscar...

Wednesday, May 8, 2013. It seems like the only thing I do around here is update what has been going on- no current posts. I really need to get better at this, I enjoy going back and reading my posts! You would think that would keep me blogging, but sadly it hasn't! Sosince February/March, what has happened? Yes, it was hard for me, but my mom is happy and that is all that matters. Now- if I can just get them to move to the south! Reno is too far away! We signed up for lessons, but they did not start unti...

Friday, February 7, 2014. Preston Mac Clark he's here! January 15, 2014. 11 lbs 11 oz. I want to write about Preston's grand arrival before it becomes a blur! I went to the doctor 2 times weekly for non-stress tests (NST) and I left the office a few times in tears, everything was looking great on the NST- and for that I was EXTREMELY grateful, but I was so ready to have him! I ask for my grandmother's phone.it's dead. I'm thinking- seriously, how can this be happening? Thankfully, they did! Then they wei...
