Specials and Sports Cars. Using Ford Sidevalve Components. Autobodies started producing body shells for the 7`6 Ford Pop chassis in 1958. Their first two were identical two seater coupe's but with a different grill. The Mk1 having a Jaguar C type grill while the Mk2 had more of an E type style grill with the headlamps on the front of the wings. The different grill of the Mk2. I do know that they offered the above aluminium cycle winged body for the Ford 7`6 chassis for 66 and the Austin Seven 6`9 chassis for 61. One advert also boasts sports car bodies with interchangeable nose and tail panels from 45.

Shortly after the 750, Ashley introduced their next shell, the sports racer, which at 90 was made to accommodate wheelbases from 6`11-7`3. Peter Pellandine was to take with him the mould for this shell and also the mould for the short wheelbase 750 when he was to leave Ashley to form Falcon before the end of 1956.
