Plus, as with most foster kids, she came to us already on medication. Now, we didn't have prescriptions for her, nor do we live anywhere near where she used to, so even if we had previous doctor's names (which we don't) there's not much we can do. So, yesterday, one of the workers at our agency, sent us two referrals - two teenage girls. Both of them seemed acceptable to us, so we asked about the first one. She's a foster-to-adopt opportunity, so we were more willing to try that out (since ultimately we'd like to adopt). That she's adjusting well.

Came over and we made of day of gaming and Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill and she hung out and we chatted about all things nerdy until I started to fall asleep where I sat.
