We've eaten at Ike's Korner Grill many years back and have meant to go again, but with all the other restaurants we go to in Spartanburg, just hadn't got around to another visit. This Saturday, we finally made it back. Above is the classic cheeseburger with just mayo, lettuce and tomato. When people talk about a good burger, this is what most have in mind. My first find was the above LP - Making Love. That I found at a Miracle Hill Thrift Store. Next I found the sealed soundtrack to The Devil In Miss Jones. At a Goodwill Thrift Store. Friday, April 24, 2015. B&B Bar-B-Q, 3020 Walhalla Highway, Six Mile, SC. UPDATE: B&B BAR-B-QUE is CLOSED. I inquired about whether the chocolate cake on the counter was homemade and it turned out one of the two waitresses had made it. I think everyone working there was somehow related. Italian Garden, 2716 Wade Hampton Blvd. We were really hoping to like this restaurant, since it would be close to our house and whenever we were in the mood for Italian Food it would be mighty convenient. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver on either food or service. This was a Mexican restaurant previously and I forget what it was before that, but the new owners have really done a great job on renovating the inside as can be seen above. Friday, June 20, 2014. Uncle Berto's is tucked into a side of a strip mall and on first glance appears to be a chain, but is actually a local restaurant run by very friendly folks. Well, the grease is back, because George came out of retirement and opened another Clock on Congaree (just behind Haywood Mall).
