Sunday, 14 November 2010. Photoshoot-no rain, but late model. My model was late (by about 2 hours), and so i had to deal with lack of light. but, I like the way the photos came out, in the dark the red veil really does pop! These are the four photos I have chosen to use, and how I will edit them:. Very dark: needs brightening - adjust red tones to match other images. Use clone tool (photoshop) to remove the cone. Crop image to even composition. alter red tones to match other images.

This area as it shows the rails coming out of the over grow, plus it has neutral colour surroundings which will make the red clothing really pop! And it's a great wall in which to add "50" to it. Saturday, 13 November 2010. I visited Abakhan on wednesday to find a fabric that I could use. After a long debate with my flat mates I came to the conclusion that the best ways to symbolise protection, safety and help would be to use something along the lines of a shawl combined with a robe or possible a very long veil. I love how the shots show off both accessories and garments so subtly but effectively. the image is quite busy. But has a foreground, midground and a background. it shows depth. i also love the lighting, obviously taken inside with professional staged lighting. The lighting is centred onto the singer with the microphone, with the other females a little less bright. In the image above that one.

With my images. the photoshoot went really well. even though my model's were nervous at the beginning of the shoot, they really settled down into their roles and really pulled it off. i chose saturday. As the weather reports looked to be the best for the week. it did rain very lightly. For a bit but the sun came out and gave me some amazing autumnal sun. Friday, 12 November 2010. I want my shoot to look as if it could be from an editorial from vogue. I want my model to look high fashion. For the make up, i went for a minimal look. I added fake eyelashes to make the eyes stand out a bit more, and darkened and thickened her eyebrows using brown eyeliner. i used a bit of blusher to highlight the cheekbones and add definition.
