Ingrid Barlow handmade, quilting, making, homestead. Handmade life for the modern traditionalist. I smell it…sun warmed mud…. March 9, 2015. This weather has my gardening fingers starting to twitch. I feel like I am a little on the late side of seed starting, even though I know I am probably not. A local nursery told me that they plant tomato seeds on March 17th, so that is what I have been using as my guide. Some seeds need to go through a cold spell (cold stratification) in order to germinate. Seem...

Noisette Handmade: a little bit about me
http://noisettehandmade.blogspot.com/2009/10/little-bit-about-me.html
Art handmade toys for children. Monday, 19 October 2009. A little bit about me. I’m Isa Maria. I’m a mum of two boys. J is 1 and M was born sleeping after being born 5 months early due to Trisomy 18. I taught myself to sew, embroider and knit a few years ago as a way to bring creativity back into my mundane office life. I turned to sewing because I’m too impatient for knitting. I love nutella (nutella is made from hazelnuts which is noisette in french). I love the smell of fresh herbs. Little bit about me.

clutterpunk: April 2011
http://clutterpunk.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. The Awkward Half-Year Silence. How are you doing? Just a peek at my hideously overstuffed blog reader tells me you're doing well. I can see you've been productive, creative, thoughtful, engaging, funny and communicative. These last 6 months. As for me, you ask? I'm fine is all. No disasters, no strange turns-of-events, no fabulous tales of adventure and daring, no freak accidents that have rendered me incapable of human interaction. I feel like the end is in sight. And even if I...

Ingrid Barlow handmade, quilting, making, homestead. Handmade life for the modern traditionalist. March 13, 2015. After I collected seeds from last years herbs. I wanted to get some other seed collecting done. I always manage to hawk some seeds from my in-laws, aka the next door neighbors, and this year I decided to go for their beautiful coneflowers. A native plant that has a lovely pinkish purple flower. Looks a lot like a Black-eyed Susan…different color, but similar. We collected a goodly amount.

Peep | Ingrid Barlow | handmade, quilting, making, homestead
http://www.ingridbarlow.com/peep
Ingrid Barlow handmade, quilting, making, homestead. Handmade life for the modern traditionalist. March 8, 2015. I recently got a Peep candle for my birthday. I loved the smell so I burned through it rather quickly. There was so much wax left in the container, that I decided to recycle it. That smell! I needed it to last longer! Some easy steps–wick in jar, melt wax, pour in jar, let harden–and the Peep lives on. Happy peepish spring weather! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Subscribe to Blog via Email.
