My journey to becoming an ironman. Sunday, May 27, 2012. I'm leavin' on a jet plane. This will probably be my last post before I leave for Kona on Thursday. Yesterday, we did our last longish bike ride. 40 miles to Waimanolo and back. It was my best ride this year and I was in my aerobars the whole time. On Thursday if I don't run, it will be 2 weeks since the last time I have run. I have rolled my ankle about 4 times in the past few months. The last time I did it, it was fairly bad. My journey to becoming an ironman. Saturday, November 24, 2012. Here's to the next time. I have finally accepted the fact that I am indeed not doing the marathon this year. Those that know me well are probably not shocked to hear this, but I am actually shocked. It wasn't until yesterday when Annie told me that she sold my bib (I had told her to) that I realized that I am for sure out of the race this year. Sorry Annie, that I can't run with you. but I am very excited to be there for you to watch!
