Monday, June 26, 2006. At last an update, you exclaim! Why so long, you ask? Well, something must have been seriously wrong with me because save a bowl of porridge over the weekend, I pretty much did a 40 hour famine! I voluntarily didn't eat! I must have been sick or crazy. I was in one of my fussy moods again. Nothing seemed good enough to eat. I even turned down pizza! I apologise for the lack of pictures. We didn't exactly take Chris on a culinary tour of Auckland because a)we didn't have reservations and b)we aren't that rich, but food was consumed and it was tasty, so we didn't fail on the gastronomy front. Monday, October 23, 2006. I've been looking forward to Diwali for quite a long time because you get to have a nice Indian feast. Yes, one of the best things about holidays is the food. My neighbours gifted us with a plate of some sweets on Sunday. Very kind of them. Some don't really look Indian and I suspect they probably aren't but what I tried was tasty. Chicken curry. A little hard to make out on account of the steam blurring up the picture. Indian fried rice. Very flavourful. Pizza And Fondue Party.
