http://www.fullofbeansandsausages.com/projects-2/projects
Full of Beans (And Sausages). An English expat in Canada - crafting and travelling and dreaming. Some of the things I have knitted! Some free knitting patterns! That's me above, Holly! An English expat living in Canada. But who am I really. I'm a devoted romantic and explorer, ever trying to satisfy the wanderlust .Oh yeah, and I love knitting, hot baths and a place to call home - a contradiction in terms! Skeletons in the closet. Rifle through the archives! Rifle through the archives!

Full of Beans (And Sausages). An English expat in Canada - crafting and travelling and dreaming. Review: My {FREE} eShakti dress. November 17, 2014. Yup – you heard me right! I have been blogging for almost two years and FINALLY. I was sent a product to review! Two weeks ago I woke up feeling a bit groggy and I did what I always do first thing in the morning – rolled over to my temperamental iPhone and checked my e mail. There was one in there from eShakti. Next I discovered something SUPER EXCITING.

Full of Beans (And Sausages). An English expat in Canada - crafting and travelling and dreaming. February 23, 2015. Here is something that has been doing the rounds on the internet, that I wanted to try my hand at. I saw it first at Amy’s blog. Thanks for the inspiration for this Amy! Four names that people call me other than Holly…. 1) My surname. I can’t remember the last time Luke called my by my first name! 2) Darling – by my Mother, on every birthday card. Four jobs that I have had. 4) The Book Thief.

Full of Beans (And Sausages). An English expat in Canada - crafting and travelling and dreaming. 8 Things I will never do before I die. February 16, 2015. I recently saw this post idea on The Pyreflies. And I thought it was inspired! We spend so long listing the things we will do – bucket lists and 101 in 1001 that we don’t list the things we will never do! Well there are things that I promise myself that I will never do before I die. I was a smoker for a few years and I quit. How did I quit? It sounds l...

THE SKOOG FARM JOURNAL. WRITINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS FROM A SMALL COMMUNITY IN WESTERN NEW YORK. The calm before the storm. Sunday, May 17, 2015. Strike Three and You're Out! A perfectly gorgeous day. Did a few things around the house and decided to go for a trike ride. These geese and their babies were next to one of the neighbor's ponds. I went around one country block.about 4 miles. Remember King Mustafa, the big warmblood that used to live here? The girls were chowing when I got back to the farm. Great p...

Life and Yarn or Yarn and Life. Just a collection of my crafts and what's going on in my daily life. Monday, August 3, 2015. I already posted about my epic climb up the mountain. Manafossen. If you haven't read it.but before we accidentally climbed that mountain, we visited a couple of yarn outlet stores. It was a wet, grey day. Drive through some beautiful scenery, even with the rain. First stop.was a Viking outlet. Then we headed back to the Gjestal Outlet.this also had a small cafe attached to it.
Discovering horror in a chapel of bones - A Globe Well Travelled
http://aglobewelltravelled.com/2015/07/20/discovering-horror-in-a-chapel-of-bones
Live an adventurous life through work and travel. Discovering horror in a chapel of bones. July 20, 2015. I have a strange obsession with dark tourism. My plans to visit Cesky Krumlov had fallen through as I’d discovered only a rare few tourists make the overpriced day trip during winter. The charming atmosphere of the picturesque Czech township would be at a seasonal low, so I’d be wandering sadly alone through the usually overcrowded streets. Our group slowly filtered through the door, impatiently wait...

Monday, July 20, 2015. Cheated on y'all. Yes, I admit it. You probably already know that I underwent mitosis and there are now two blogs within which my ramblings can be absorbed: this one and grapestrades. Linked to the right and also right here in this sentence. But you can also read grapestrades material on CBOE Options Hub. If you'd like to skip the other astute elocutions on that site and shortcut straight to mine, go straight to reading my first installment there, by clicking these words. Just a qu...

full of beans | adventures in nourishment
Posted September 16, 2013 by fullofbeans. Yesterday I began taking down the tomatoes not that they need much help from me. The heavy vines have been pulling their spindly supports down for weeks, sometimes ripping them right out of the earth. Greenery is browning fast, some branches shriveling to dusty nothingness while others, still juicy, play host to a dark creeping fungus. And everywhere, cracked fruits blacken, ooze, spill, stink. Posted May 8, 2013 by fullofbeans. But there is another category of.
