The Thongthais: May 2012
http://thethongthais.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 28, 2012. The Sticky, Splashy Memorial Day. We have had a really wonderful Memorial Day weekend. The past few months have been incredibly busy with a few weekend trips to see Wor's family, constant home improvement projects, lots of paper work and decision making and not a whole lot of time for fun. This weekend was just what the doctor ordered. We spent the weekend splashing in the pool both at Grandma's house and at the YMCA. Eating sticky popsicles with Cousin Brooklyn. Let It Be Sunday!

The Thongthais: October 2011
http://thethongthais.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I was asked all the time by other moms "don't you just love this age" or "this age is just so fun isn't it? And I kept waiting to feel that way about what Lily was doing. Don't get me wrong, I always love her, I think she is the most adorable baby ever and enjoy being her mom.I just wasn't constantly having fun. But if someone asked me that right now I would answer with a resounding YES! She is perfect and I love being her mommy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Let It Be Sunday!

The Thongthais: Thailand Part 1- Oh the Places You'll Go
http://thethongthais.blogspot.com/2012/11/thailand-part-1-oh-places-youll-go.html
Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Thailand Part 1- Oh the Places You'll Go. While the trip to Thailand really started months ago with an unbelievable amount of prep I will skip that part except for saying that over planning really is necessary when dragging a clingy 18 month old across the world. Research Research Research. I am so glad I did. Wor didn't fare any better and I was pretty sure that once we reached Thailand we would starve if I was the one in charge of figuring out the food. S Family Full Session.

The Thongthais: February 2012
http://thethongthais.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2012. I'm going to blog what I am thinking about these days: hotels. I am torn on where to stay for our trip to Bankok. Should we go super duper cheap? Its definitely possible to go cheap in Thailand. Or should we stay in a nicer place and just splurge? Here are my three choices I have narrowed it down to:. Narai Hotel- Good location. Rooms are a bit more updated than the Silom Village Inn. Breakfast is included. Nothing really sets the place apart. About $60 a night. Respect- I wan...

Shoe Wings: About
http://www.shoe-wings.com/p/about.html
From the stay-at-home mom that brought lace petti rompers to the masses, comes our latest craze.super hero shoe wings! Hi, I am a photographer. In 2011, I started an additional at-home business, BabyLaceRompers.com. I took a product that was pricey on handmade sites, and had it developed for much cheaper if I bought in bulk. I have applied the same simple method to our shoe wings. Yes, you can get it from a popular handmade site online but it'll cost ya! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Rachel and Travis: June 2014
http://rachandtrav.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 24, 2014. This girl and her stuffed animals. Seriously, could she be any cuter? Audrey really has a special bond with her beloved stuffed animals. She has 3 generously sized storage bins full of animals (not to mention the ones on and under her bed) and she loves EVERY single one of them! I thought it was adorable that she wanted to take Bear (in her top 2 favorite animals) for a bike ride. Audrey did a great job on her presentation! Shirley Temple is one of the few child actors who did not...

Rachel and Travis: July 2014
http://rachandtrav.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 18, 2014. Our little buggy turned 5 back in July! I don't think there has ever been a 4 year old boy who was more excited to turn 5 than Phoenix! He of course wanted Little Caesars Pizza for dinner! And he also requested a water balloon fight. Done and done! My finger tips hurt just looking at this picture! Phoenix is always ready and willing to show off his muscles. The water balloons (the ones that I spent an hour filling up) were used up in about 5 minutes, so out came the hose! When he g...

Rachel and Travis: Mother's Day
http://rachandtrav.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Aside from waking up to an alarm clock (curse you 9 am church! Mother's Day was pleasant and enjoyable. Travis let me pick out a new lens that I have been wanting for a few years, and I tested it out while dinner was cooking. Travis made me Gado-Gado (an Indonesian dish from my Dad's mission). He made the peanut sauce, the marinade for the chicken, and then he grilled the chicken. Am I the only one that thinks food tastes better when you don't have to prepare it yourself? Andrew an...

Rachel and Travis: March 2015
http://rachandtrav.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 9, 2015. Phoenix was SO excited to be back on the field playing soccer. He always tries to be the fastest kid on his team (and he usually is), and he has made several goals in practice. He was way more distracted on game day, I blame it on the sideline fun. His teammates that weren't on the field playing were hiding under a blanket.it was COLD! The girls only had two practices before their first game, but you would never know it! I am so glad that I saw it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fast ...
