http://trivialpursuits.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 28, 2007. This probably isn't the best thing to post about. But I need to write about it, so here goes. After I get this out, I promise a post about my wedding! My wedding was everything it should have been - a beautiful, wonderful event shared with my family, loved ones, and the most wonderful man in the world. But, instead of 6 of my closest friends standing beside me, there were only 4. In mid-May, I received a message from one of my bridesmaids. I spoke to both of them and told them t...

Saturday, February 03, 2007. This was sort of a mystery project at least as far as this blog. It was never a work in progress and suddenly, BAM, another finished object! Pattern: Baby Shrug from Debbie Bliss SimplyBaby. Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cotton Angora #15510. Needles: Size 5 and 6. Posted by E. at 6:30 AM. I know I've been MIA for a while but I promise I've been knitting like crazy and have lots of wonderful things to show you. First of all, the details on the completed Devan cardigan - with buttons.

Sunday, September 10, 2006. It has been a while since I posted a blog entry. Work has been a bit hectic with Hurricane season. Luckily I scheduled a vacation and I was able to get away before anything too serious is on the horizon. So now me and J are on a two week European holiday - well, Austria and Italy. Tomorrow we will attempt to see one or two of the real attractions of Vienna before we head off to the airport to go to Rome. Hopefully I'll be able to write some more in a few days. So Far, So Good.

Monday, January 01, 2007. Promised Pictures and New Projects. First, as promised - the lessons learned from my last post in pictures. First, we have the washcloth-lace-study:. Next, we have the two-plus-year-scarf. Note, the older side is on the left - newer on the right. The scarf was completed in Manos del Uruguay yarn and I adore the color blends in this yarn. Here is a close-up that more accurately reflects the yarn colors:. Posted by E. at 10:42 AM. View my complete profile. So Far, So Good.

Friday, December 29, 2006. Presenting.Devan et. al. Yes, that is right. The unimaginable happened - I finished Devan! I think it is mostly due to the yarn-buying-freeze enacted by J until the sweater was completed. Now I am allowed to buy.get ready for this.AS MUCH YARN AS I WANT. Oh, J could not have possibly imagined how much yarn I want, but the deal was made and now I'm free to go on a yarn spree. There is sure to be later posts about these yarn purchases. Then with shoulders seamed:. I had a booklet...

Sunday, August 13, 2006. But here goes anyway. I'm sick of people asking if I'm engaged yet. First of all, I want everyone to know that WERE I engaged we would have a phone call sounding something like this:. I promise it will be OBVIOUS. I will not chat for an hour with you and then when you ask "So are you engaged yet? Say "OH YEAH.I completely forgot. He actually proposed 3 weeks ago.". Posted by E. at 9:56 AM. Thursday, November 09, 2006. It has been so long since I wrote about knitting that you may believe I no longer knit. I have found that I go through phases of intense knitting or reading. While I am in my reading phase, I may read 3-4 books without picking up a pair of knitting needles and vice versa. And again for your viewing pleasure I present. The Cat in the Hat! Posted by E. at 9:14 PM. 2 I just don't care enough/I don't know what I want. I'm guessing my indecisiveness is due to something resembli...

This is a cardigan that I am knitting for one of J.'s coworkers who just had their first baby. I thought it would take me a lot longer so I started knitting the 1-2 year size when the baby was 1 week old! Knit so I am also using Marks and Kattens Clown yarn. Posted by E. at 2:28 PM. I guess as a start I should at least tell you who "we" are. We are m...
