Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Another pleasantly quiet day. Michelle and I have gotten registered for two races, The Christmas Story House 10K. And the Santa Hustle. Both in December, both in Ohio. We ran the inaugural CSH run two years ago in Cleveland and ran it last year virtually. Michelle and Barb ran the Santa Hustle two years ago and we decided the three of us would give it a go again. In the spring of 1915, 20,000 Australians, as part of the 70,000 strong Mediterranean Expeditionary Force of British, French, Indian, Australian and New Zealand troops made an amphibious assault on the Gallipoli peninsula in Turkey, a place most had never heard of, landing at several locations on the 25th of April 1915.
