Life at the Beach: November 2013
http://sweetjenn-mommy.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 14, 2013. New job, New church, New city. We moved to Panama City, FL. How did that happen? I figured you would ask, so here we go. The guy said, "Just call him. You guys can talk about the stuff you go through in ministry." Admittedly, Ryan said it was an awkward phone call. He was a perfect stranger calling up another perfect stranger and asking, "How's it going? I mean, are you kidding me? Did this just happen? God, what are You up to? Seriously.we were both in utter shock. You see, ...

Life at the Beach: The Comparison Game....
http://sweetjenn-mommy.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-comparison-game.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. If you're like me, you have those days.you know the ones. The days that you feel less than perfect.some of us.MUCH less than perfect. You look in the mirror and you play the "comparison game":. I'm not as pretty as her. I'm not as skinny as her. My skin is not as smooth as hers. My hair doesn't lay just right like hers. I wish my hair was straighter, like hers. I wish my hair was curlier, like hers. My body doesn't look like hers. I'm not as good of a mom as her. When we beg...

Aspiring to Simplicity: New Table
http://aspiringtosimplicity.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-table.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Where has the time gone? I've ignored this blog terribly for far too long. I turned 34 over the weekend. My girls are getting so big! It is supposed to snow today, for the first time all winter, basically. The cattle are doing well, the chickens (I think) are doing well (it's hard to count them), and we're starting to get more eggs after their solstice sabbatical. :). During the sanding stage. As it happened, the good people I bought it from delivered the table to my front ya...

Life at the Beach: November 2011
http://sweetjenn-mommy.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. It's snowing in Blytheville. My plants haven't had the best move. This corn plant looks terrible. It was looking good before our move. Of course our SETX humidity kept it looking great. I put it outside, even thought it's not an outside plant and it literally thrived. I just got it back to a pretty healthy state before our move, and, well, you can tell it's had a hard time here. Friday, November 18, 2011. Now, for the real story. So, anyway, the story of how we got to today.

Life at the Beach: July 2012
http://sweetjenn-mommy.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. This was a geranium that was growing inside our FLC (family life center). I took it as I was walking down the stairwell on my way to something else. Flowers are easy to shoot since they have so much color and don't move.lol. This one I took outside in my back yard. I can't really tell you how I got so close to the bee, but I was surprised at how detailed it turned out. I love that you can see the little hairs all over him. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. As Time Goes By. I get up, feed t...

Tuesday, December 13, 2011. The rest of the Story. Let's see.where did I leave off? Oh, yes.FREE HOUSING! So, I am sitting in the Pastor's office and the President of the Bank here in town walks in and offers us a free house. That's right.FREE. "Come look at it tomorrow if you have time." So we agreed and went back to the chapel to accept the formal call to FBC Blytheville. It's free so some fixing up is to be expected.oh, and cleaning. But it's FREE right? I will keep an open mind.". Aspiring to Simplicity: October 2011
http://aspiringtosimplicity.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 20, 2011. I have a friend on facebook who calls himself conservative. He posts articles and comments about big government spending, hates the cronyism, is against bailouts and that kind of thing. His daughter's boyfriend explains that the people who are supporting them (? Apparently 'take' their foodstamps. and then my friend responds. They take our foodstamps for them and expect a months worth of foodstamps to last 4 ppl and a [redacted expletive] black hole a month. Do your conservati...

Aspiring to Simplicity: A Chainsaw, Part 1
http://aspiringtosimplicity.blogspot.com/2011/04/chainsaw-part-1.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. A Chainsaw, Part 1. My grandpa died a couple years back. You remember I got his dishes. It has been a journey for me in several ways, some parts are harder than others. It wasn't until last winter that we were able to lay some rumors to rest, find out truth, and live with it. :). At the end of the two years or so of wondering, and finally figuring out the facts, I was left with some pretty hurtful realizations. My grandpa (and/or my cousin) thinks homeless pets. I don't believe ...

Aspiring to Simplicity: December 2011
http://aspiringtosimplicity.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 19, 2011. I'm knitting. I said I wouldn't, and then I did. Mostly little stuff for little people. I got two knitting books - on my kindle! On a cyber-monday deal. Last Minute Knitted Gifts. And More Last Minute Knitted Gifts. I'm making Christmas gifts of the caloric version. Nothing too extravagant, but I'm laughing because I'm using organic. Popcorn. along with butter, marshmallows, and M&Ms. :P. Not if you're gluten or dairy-free! As does World Vision. There are probably more, too.
