Astronomy through the Ages. How Old is Creation? Arc to Arcturus →. RIP, Ray Bradbury. June 6, 2012. Ray Bradbury passed away today at his home in Los Angeles at 91. Bradbury, who will be remembered for a huge number of works and notably Illustrated Man, Fahrenheit 451 among others, inspired multiple generations of writers, poets, dreamers, and yes, scientists, even astronomers. Even bloggers like yours truly, who had the great good fortune to meet Bradbury at Cal State Northridge back in the late 70s.
