I've been thin. I've been fat. Fat, thin. Thin, fat. My cholesterol levels just kept climbing. But no more. My journey on "The Primal Blueprint" low-carb plan. Saturday, April 23, 2011. 1 large head of cauliflower (I used frozen, last bag from my garden). 2 cups grated cheese, mozzarella, cheddar or a combo. Optional herbs (I used dried oregano and parsley). Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit (ahem). Line pan or pizza stone with baking paper. A dash of red pepper flakes followed by sliced salami.

March 29, 2012. Finally, time for a new recipe! It's so convenient that I had to be in class today (instead of work) and in order to get there I didn't have to leave until 12.30 PM. That way I had lots of time to enjoy myself in the kitchen in the AM. A few months ago, I found this recipe for ' Green Pork and Shiitake Sliders. All in all, I had to make some major changes to the recipe so I decided to make my own version. It worked! Spinach Shiitake Burgers (serves 4). 3 large handfulls of fresh spinach.

March 11, 2012. Today, I'm not posting a recipe of my own, but something I made for the first time last week. And it was a succes. Up until 2 days ago, I was convinced everyone loves bacon. Except for vegetarians and vegans, but even they sometimes eat fake bacon. Yet, I was wrong!
