The pursuit of handcrafted excellence by a dude named Joe. 17th Century-style Carving, a few shots, day 2. I’m pretty whipped from a fun-filled weekend. I hope to paint it similar. February 9, 2014. Posted by joecrafted on February 9, 2014. Joseph Cunningh...

The pursuit of handcrafted excellence by a dude named Joe. 17th Century Carving, day 1. We did a lot of practice, as you might expect, on some very nicely prepared, air-dried red oak. Gouge work, V-parting tool, and lots of whack whack whack with the mallets. I had one shot with my iPhone. Yeah iPhone. V-parting tool practice with some of the gouge practice in the background.
