365 Days, 365 Less Items To Tie Me Down. February 13, 2011 3 Comments. If you don’t know about the Rock Hall of Fame, you should. On the water in a lovely area of Cleveland, Oh. it’ houses some of the most impressive Rock memorabilia that exists. I’m quite impressed by their inductees this year especially Tom Waits. Check him out reading a poem by Bukowski. May it send you inspiration at the end of a rotten week or a brilliant week. February 14, 2011 at 8:30 am. February 14, 2011 at 7:17 pm.

Irish Soda Bread and Putting Off Procrastination | Oh My Words!
https://wordsohmy.wordpress.com/2012/03/16/irish-soda-bread-and-putting-off-procrastination
My stories. My thoughts. My words! Irish Soda Bread and Putting Off Procrastination. This post was supposed to be about procrastination….but I’ve decided to write about that later. I know. I love me some irony. Relatives know exactly how messy you are and are pleasantly surprised when your home reflects something different. With Company, you clean with the foolish hope of tricking them into thinking that you’re better than you are. That would not end well. 8211;see the original recipe. Note: For the most...

365 Days, 365 Less Items To Tie Me Down. February 17, 2011 3 Comments. April 3, 2011 at 11:24 pm. I noticed it’s been a while since your last post, I hope all is well! I love that you’re jettisoning items everyday; that’s a very ambitious goal! My mom and I have been jettisoning things as well, but on a smaller scale. We are going for one item a week, more when we feel like it. I hope to see a post from you soon! May 4, 2011 at 5:24 pm. August 9, 2011 at 11:29 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Take a Look, It’s on a Book: Book Title Poem | Oh My Words!

My stories. My thoughts. My words! Take a Look, It’s on a Book: Book Title Poem. I was sick last week with a bugger of a cold and gave myself a pass from blogging. I thought I was going to have to wuss out of this week’s post, too, since I had no news, no motivation, and no clue what to write. Unfortunately, this is getting to be a familiar feeling. You remember my New Years resolution. To maintain a habit of creative writing? Yeah, not going so well. My Giraffe Story. We are not amused. I like the prett...

This cake decorator's mission: learn to bake! Happy birthday to me: Chocolate butter cake with neoclassic buttercream. Wednesday was my birthday, and it should come as no surprise to all of you that I spent it–yep–baking! And these days, as you know, I take any and every opportunity to practice my baking. Of course, I wanted this cake to be extra-good, so I decided to go with a really tried-and-true recipe…and what better place to find one than in Rose Levy Beranbaum’s The Cake Bible. Both my arm and my ...
