Saturday, February 11, 2012. Thursday marked a month since Mom died. Mom died. I still can’t believe it. I wanted to post, but I just couldn’t. I still don’t want to, but it’s time. The Thursday before she died, Dad, Mom and I met with Dr. P. Time, Dr. P explained to mom that she was dying. She didn’t understand how he could be so sure – she wanted scans. She wanted to go home. She hoped he was wrong. He asked her if she was hoping for a miracle and she said yes. With my mom for a miracle. Then, he prayed.

Monday, July 11, 2011. Just call us honeymooners :). Our honeymoon was awesome! We spent our first week as husband and wife in Ocho Rios, Jamaica - Thank you babe! After our reception, we came home for our first night of married bliss. The next morning, we woke up, finished packing, and went to Raleigh for the night. Then, bright and early on Monday morning we flew to Charlotte and then to Montego Bay in Jamaica. We stayed at a Couples Resort and loved it so much! Here are a some pictures to help me recap.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Well what you will need :. Pair of flats (I suggest a canvas fabric since it will adhere better). Glitter of your choice (I chose a rainbow mixture). You will begin with coating a small portion of the shoe with the mod podge. Then you will add a good amount of glitter to the area in which the mod podge is located. Monday, October 18, 2010. One of my most favorite fruits to eat is an apple. Be it a green apple, yellow apple, or red apple, I have no prejudices and I will eat them all. My favorites have to be Granny Smith apples, Gala apples, and Golden Delicious apples. Therefore naturally I also love any dessert that has apples in it with my favorite one being an apple crisp dessert. So today I went perusing the World Wide Web for various apple crisp desserts. 2 tbs of lemon juice. 3/4 cup of light brown sugar.

Monday, March 21, 2011. This past weekend there was a baby shower for one of our pharmacists at work who is having a baby boy. SO of course I volunteered to make some yummy sweat treats for the occasion. I decided to make chocolate dipped pretzels, bellybuttons, and oreo truffle pops. I was very pleased with how all the things turned out in addition to no complaints from the those in attendance at the shower. I found these cute colored pails at Target for $1! I was blog surfing.
