Robert Andrew - Marine Painter. Welcome to my website. The last couple of years have been very good for my prospects as a marine painter. The 2005 high spot was being featured in the national newspaper of the UK fishing industry, Fishing News. 2006 was an even better year with exhibitions in the Museum Of Scottish Lighthouses and the Aberdeen Maritime Museum, both of which now own examples of my work - with more to follow. Then there was the Subsea 7. E-mail me at robandrewpainter@yahoo.co.uk.

Robert Andrew - Marine Painter. Living in the north east of Scotland means knowing there's an offshore oil industry. FAR SUPPORTER was the first support vessel I painted. GEOHOLM and ROCKWATER 1 were both painted in the course of work on the Subsea 7. Dropping Off The Empties: Rockwater 1. The work you'll see here is all gouache on paper, mostly about A3 in size and in private hands. I'm happy to take commissions and prices start at 400. Wound Up And Ready, Rockwater 1.

Fishing Boats
http://robandrew.co.uk/boats.html
Robert Andrew - Marine Painter. Living near Macduff on Scotland's east coast means the vessels closest to my doorstep are mostly fishing boats and often out of the water. While fresh paint looks good, there's nothing wrong with evidence of a working boat. Rust features in many of my paintings. The work you'll see here is all gouache on paper, mostly about A3 in size and in private hands. I'm happy to take commissions and prices start at 400. Site design by www.graphicali.co.uk.

Robert Andrew - Marine Painter. It isn't only fishing vessels, dive support vessels and cable-layers, that I've painted. There are also fishermen, lighthouse support vessels, lifeboats and liners.
