About Me And My Patch. Saturday, 8 August 2015. An off patch day today had me visiting Thursley Common with Marc Heath ( see his superb blog here. Dragon Habitat At Thursley. We spent 7 hours in glorious weather chasing down Dragonflies, of which we found 16 species, two of those being new to me, the Black Darter and the Common Hawker, although the latter only gave flight views, the former were seen in good numbers, giving lots of photo opportunities. http://davidswildlifephotography.blogspot.com/2012/04/lizards.html
A record of wildlife recorded in or near our wildlife garden. Our Garden Mammal list. Our Garden Bird list. Sunday, 29 April 2012. In the ten years my wife and I have lived here we have seen colonies (I dont know if there is a collective noun) of lizards in the garden - they seem to particularly relish the limestone of this area. These are some of the sightings over the years. The first image is apparently a pregnant female on top of a hebe shrub seeking the sunshine. The last two images are juveniles.

A másik nagy kedvenc...

Just another WordPress.com site. September 27, 2012. Amazing example of finding joy in this journey we all call life; you never know where it’s going to take you or who you’re going to meet so enjoy the journey and strive to live righteously. Here is our wedding announcement! Kim and I both wanted something different. We wanted something to help tell our story because whenever people would ask us, How did you meet? Or How long have you been dating? We would give each other sideways glances and smile.
