Lifestyle, Travel and Mommyhood. VLP-Day 6: Eating Out Ain’t That Bad. March 21, 2014. And I’m almost 1 week vegan. I’m still trying to add mushrooms to my palette. Maybe if these were cut up I could’ve siked myself out but they looked too much like Smurf homes for me to eat. Poor little Smurfs. Dinner was some of the leftover string beans and rice. I still find myself getting full (satisfied) much faster and I’m ok with that. I wonder if this will continue. Posted in: Vegan Living. Follow Blog via Email.

Lifestyle, Travel and Mommyhood. VLP-Day 10: Vegan and all her -isms. March 25, 2014. Today I’ve been reflecting on what it truly means to be vegan or rather to practice. I posted a Facebook status that started a rather interesting debate:. If anything, I found that my stance got more response from more non vegans than from vegans. I had a couple vegans comment stating that they felt the same way in the beginning of their vegan journey, but after years their views changed. And I’m ok with that. I’m...

Lifestyle, Travel and Mommyhood. VLP-Day 7: I MADE IT! March 22, 2014. I’m officially 1 week vegan! It hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be but it’s been hard enough. I think my biggest challenge/fear. Is cooking. I love to cook but haven’t tackled any vegan recipes yet. This is partially due to my unpreparedness in grocery shopping but I hope to rectify that by next week. My favorite thing/most rewarding. Today’s food choices included (click image(s) to enlarge):. A blog written by a 30-something who shares her insights and perspectives as she experiences this 21st century life! Saturday, March 31, 2012. Reading The Shack has been a life altering experience. Nope. I'm not exaggerating. This "fictional" tale took me to my very own Shack and I've come through the experience having a new perspective on many things with which I've been dealing.
