http://adilenegse.blogspot.com/2012/04/save-jessica.html
Penn GSE Admissions Blog. Friday, April 13, 2012. In the midst of my academic sprint towards graduation I have recently gotten hooked to American Idol. After so many years of watching not one episode ( except for youtube clips of William Hung’s “She Bangs” performance ). Of this show I find myself drawn to it by one of their contestants. Her name is Jessica Sanchez. Now, this story didn’t begin yesterday. She was singing Celine Dion’s “ I surrender” song like a complete pro. It was THAT good. Check some ...

My goal is to come out of Pemba almost fluent in portuguese :D Let's see how that goes. it might be a bit too ambitious but a sincere attempt will be made :D. I'm just glad that finals are over and that I can now fully concentrate on my IEDP project. That I will...

Monday, April 27, 2009. The Day I Did No Schoolwork. Personal care is so important to grad school survival, and as you know, final paper season is in full swing. So, this past Saturday, I decided (spontaneously) to have a fun day. It was fun to spend time with people outside of class and it was an honor to have a faculty member with us! Sunday marked a return to the real world of research and paper writing, but the fun day has rejuvenated me! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Penn GSE Student Journals.

PennGSE Student Journals: Spring is in the air!!!
http://penngsejournalcathy.blogspot.com/2009/04/spring-is-in-air.html
The life of a PennGSE Psychological Services student. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Spring is in the air! It is so exciting! We made it through the winter! Spring is really in the air! And the trees are so beautiful. I love the trees. That's what I decided this year. They are my favorite. There are tons of trees with white flowers on them lining the streets of Philadelphia. Trees with pink flowers are a bit more rare. These are my absolute favorite. And you know where you can see tons of them?

It is the Wednesday after graduation, and the excitement from this past weekend has quickly died down and I am left to reflect on a year that whirled past me almost too quickly. Grades are in (I did well! I look forward to remaining a GSE student for the next few years, as I make the transition into the Ph.D. program in Higher Education. It has been fun writing this blog, and who knows, I may continue to update it over the summer. I'll be...
