July 21, 2013. Bike for Sale – Nottingham Cruiser. I’m selling the first bike that introduced me to the best way to get around London. 180 on.o. for the bike including lights and locks. Raleigh Panache (1980s mixte frame with dual down tube). Frame (seat tube) is 21″ (53 cm), but as it’s a mixte frame, you don’t really need to worry about the standover height. I’m 5’4″ (162cm) and this bike is a little bit too big for me. But certainly test ride it first. For collection from Hackney. Front and rear tyres.

Technological autocracy: Connecting the ArbotixM with the Raspberry Pi, part 2
http://freyzor.blogspot.com/2015/01/connecting-arbotixm-with-raspberry-pi_28.html
A little corner for my projects to shine. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Connecting the ArbotixM with the Raspberry Pi, part 2. So lets get blinky installed on the arbotix from the Raspberry Pi. To avoid repeating all the build parameter for the target board model and the serial interface we add a ino.ini file with the following configuration. Build again, relying on the ino.ini to set the board model and serial port to use. Then we upload to the device. Cp , /blinky/ino.ini . Sudo apt-get install picocom.

December 2, 2015. Creativeworks London Project – Iteration 1. This past October I started a short research project funded by the Creativeworks London Entrepreneur-in-Residence Scheme. The first design iteration has been focused on a SOIC package of an ATtiny and using the tools with the smallest barriers of use, whether cost, bureaucracy or my own skillset. The circuit was printed on paper using a Brother DCP 145C and silver nano particle ink. A Brother Pr1000e was used to embroider the circuit with Shie...

Technological autocracy: September 2011
http://freyzor.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A little corner for my projects to shine. Friday, September 9, 2011. KAMKOP a very impressive tricopter. Found this beautiful tri-copter while prowling diydrones. Made by Peter Koppendorfer called KAMCOP. It features 6x 350W motors and a custom carbon fiber shell with a transparent plastic dome in front with a pan-tilt camera. Excellent design and professional finish. Envy! Will serve as an inspiration if I ever get around to build one for my self. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Lots of nice build plans.

A little corner for my projects to shine. Sunday, November 27, 2011. PCB etching in 30 minutes. Here is a very interesting PCB etching guide. Friday, November 11, 2011. The arrival of the Sumpod. It's finally here. I'll be posting more about my unpacking and assembly experience soon. For now you'll just have to admire the smaller than expected box of wonders. I have already secured some primer and paint. The color scheme will be white internals and navy blue externals. The paints are local brands.

June 19, 2015. Barcelona Music Hack Day – Project Jane. Google announced its Project Jacquard. Recently. The project covers several research and development topics leading to the mass production of fabric sensors that can detect hand gestures. I think it’s a defining moment in e-textile research as it’s attracted the popular press and introduced the field of e-textiles to a consumer audience that might not have been aware of it before. This is Project Jane. Continue reading →. June 7, 2015. I was inspire...

Technological autocracy: Arduino and Raspberry Pi via command line
http://freyzor.blogspot.com/2015/01/arduino-and-raspberry-pi-via-command.html
A little corner for my projects to shine. Monday, January 26, 2015. Arduino and Raspberry Pi via command line. Since I'm about to hook up an ArbotixM robot controller to a Raspberry Pi to control it with ROS, I needed to set up the tools to do that. I'm avoiding the the raspberry desktop (which is quite fine mind you) for by robot and want to do it all via command line since so I can do this remotely via SSH. Sudo apt-get install arduino. To install that I did:. Sudo apt-get install python-setuptools.
