Mooning Over Maui: Part Two | hannahdays
https://hannahdays.wordpress.com/2010/06/11/mooning-over-maui-part-two
Mooning Over Maui: Part Two. When we left off, Adam and I had just arrived in Maui. And driven the long and winding Road to Hana. We spent the rest of the week falling in love with Maui. The mountains, beaches, and skies were breathtaking, and we kept stopping to take photos like these:. We also partook in a few tourist-y experiences:. The Royal Lahaina Luau. Showing off our leis and our buried-in-the-forest table. But I have to say, it was exactly what I hoped a luau would be! Makena’s Big Beach. One wa...

I now interrupt our honeymoon recaps to chat about our post-wedding photo shoot! You may recall that we planned to take engagement photos this past winter. But time was not on our sides. Our amazing wedding photographer, Brittany. Liked the idea of switching to a post-wedding shoot; so this Friday, we’ll reunite for our long-awaited engagement-turned-post-wedding shoot! I love themed photo shoots. You know the kind I’m talking about. The amazing. The couple that loves road trips. I love the combination o...
The Big Move | hannahdays
https://hannahdays.wordpress.com/2010/09/09/the-big-move
I can’t believe a month has passed since we moved into our new home in New York! Adam and I had a busy summer, and it feels nice to settle into fall. My doctoral classes have started; Adam’s back to working normal hours; and, it took a while, but we’ve adopted our new apartment as our home. When I left off, we were just about to enjoy our going-away party, thrown by Adam’s family:. In the truck, and ready to go! Of course, we couldn’t leave home without my best bud, J. What was your last move like? You a...
Our Picture Book | hannahdays

We still haven’t received our wedding photos, and I’m aching to see them and share them with you! In the meantime, I’ve been looking at options for our wedding album. I’ve seen some. On the web, but I’m leaning toward a classic look. Luckily, our photographer has amazing taste and offers her clients Cypress. Never heard of Cypress Fine Handmade Albums and Boxes? Here’s a little show and tell about them:. But honestly, how could one go wrong with their fabric and ribbon options? The materials are gorgeous.
CB2: A Pleasant Surprise | hannahdays
https://hannahdays.wordpress.com/2010/07/28/cb2-a-pleasant-surprise
CB2: A Pleasant Surprise. I have always avoided CB2. I figured it was the teenage/college version of Crate and Barrel. You know, like PB Teen. The younger sibling of Pottery Barn. Or like VS Pink. The little sister of Victoria’s Secret. Initials = Youth, apparently. Um, what in the who? What is this place? Place mats that would look cute with everything we own? I continued exploring, expecting to stumble upon their skateboard-themed dorm-decorating section at any moment. Simple, tasteful serving platters?

That's so asian!: August 2009
http://interestingasian.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 15, 2009. Take me out to the ball game. I have many friends who are Cubs fans. I also have many friends who are White Sox fans. Despite what you might think after this post, fear not - I am a fan of neither team. (I only grew up a Mets fan because I wanted to be just like my brother when I was little! Are both HUGE Cubs fans, and their birthdays sandwich August 16th. The creation: "Cub-cakes". I enjoy this name very much. :). I got the inspiration by searching on google images! 6) While ...
That's so asian!: June 2010
http://interestingasian.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 12, 2010. There's something about summer. Summer is wonderful in so many ways. I get to catch up with people that didn't know I existed during the school year, embark on new baking endeavors, enjoy a conglomerate of fresh fruits, celebrate my nth birthday (this year it's 3 3), and finally post on a blog that I have neglected for nearly a year. Inspiration in the summer is easy: open the refrigerator, and pick your favorite colors! I chose the following color palette:.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010. True, I have done a little bit of neglecting this summer from my blog, but fear you not! That doesn't mean that I have stop baking. In fact, each of the following cupcakes were inspired by different events from the past three months! This summer, I had my fill of delicious fruits when I went back to Taiwan. Nothing beats their delicious mangoes that were bigger than the size of my head. Needless to say, when I came back to the States, I had a large void to fill! Hannah, moving a...

That's so asian!: A Purple and Yellow Event
http://interestingasian.blogspot.com/2010/07/purple-and-yellow-event.html
Sunday, July 11, 2010. A Purple and Yellow Event. Who knew that little Mac was ready to become a Big Mac? Don't kill me, E! S son, Mac, has graduated and is going to move onto grad school at Louisiana State University! The excitement called for a party. The party called for cupcakes. Thus, the party called for Jeanette. (Those last few sentences could almost have been fashioned into logic statements for my Geometry kids! Inductive reasoning, anyone? The result: Blueberry Lemon Cupcakes.

That's so asian!: It's time for key lime.
http://interestingasian.blogspot.com/2009/08/its-time-for-key-lime.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2009. It's time for key lime. By the end of this post, you will learn how I made:. But of course, like everything else in my life, this cupcake has a story. Awhile back, my darling friends threw me a Disney-themed birthday party. It was like a pop-up video of Disney-filled fun facts (which Ritu so lovingly printed in the DISNEY font, see below). Perhaps there is a deeper connection here. In any case, Hannah. Hi I'm Ms. Horng, and I will be your math teacher.hey it's my birthday! 28 oz ...

Wednesday, November 30. Nars Rikugien Satin lip pencil. If there's one brand that I can't help but love, it's Nars. Ever since I tried their sheer glow foundation I was hooked and I don't think I've ever tried a product that's disappointed me. It's not often I'm so enamoured by a product that I end up wearing it to death but that is definitely what happened here. Just look at that swatch- Rikugien is the prettiest rose pink shade! Look but it's definitely a colour that you could build up. On a recent tri...

Monday, March 21, 2011. This is a picture of me when I was 3 years old. My family and I lived in Texas, with my Grammy and blue Grandpa(he got his nick name from my brother Brad, because he mostly wears blue shirts) My Dad was working as a waiter, while he was applying to Medical school. Here's me 5 years later, modeling a scarf my Mom made. We live in the Midwest now and My Dad is about to graduate from Medical school. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Here I am with Ashley. A Day In The Life

Thursday, 26 May 2011. Images of Finished Set. Today was our last day on creating the set. We layed. Out all the props we had gathered for the room including a tea set and real food. I brought in a smoking pipe, a Czechoslovakia. We were given a large selection of lights and cameras which we could adjust to our preference. We also had use of a smoke machine which gave a really interesting effect in Gregor's bedroom which helped relate our set to the Psychological horror genre. My favourite image of the s...
