I often reminded myself to "Think Happy" and I think it helped, although it was a struggle to do so at times as I am prone to my winter funk. So here goes. My February resolution. Thursday, January 31, 2008. Since we've been together, The Swede and I have gone through cancer, the loss his father, the loss of our child, and a few other frightening, life-altering events. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. This is going to be a quickie post. Dare I say I have a fan? As I sit here taking a break from work, I am in my pj's. I haven't showered since Monday – although I plan to do so today. The reason I am mentioning this is because I suffer from depression in the winter. We have a frost warning for tonight and I just planted 15 rose bushes and now I've got to figure out a way to cover them all tonight. I'm thinking big garbage bags may do the trick in a pinch, or 5 gallon buckets? Anyone who has a great (and preferably simple) solution.shout it out! Hope I didn't JINX myself.
