Wednesday, 31 August 2011. Only one day to go! Both our bags are now packed and ready (as you can see on the photo below). We have our passports, sun cream, hats, travel books, camera and ipod. Anything else we need? We'll be setting off at about 11 o'clock tomorrow morning (Thursday 1st September) to get to Heathrow Airport. It should take us about 2 hours but we're setting off extra early in case there are traffic jams. We need to get there for around half past 2, as we fly at about half past 5.

Monday, 26 December 2011. Byron Bay - Christmas in Australia. When I was growing up, I had two main ambitions. The first was to play football on Barcelona´s glorious cathedral of soccer, the Nou Camp. And all whilst wearing a cliched santa hat, of course. A plausible ambition. Red, sun-burned, blistering face with two white hoops around my eyes. The perfect look for Christmas. Then the rest of the food ran out! Everyone will be shaking hands, wishing each other Merry Christmas and buying each other drink...

Friday, 23 December 2011. We briefly visited Brisbane (although far too briefly to comment on the city) and then set off in the direction of Byron Bay (via Nimbin). A trip. To Nimbin is high. So, after a couple of beers in the pub, we headed down to the Nimbin Bowlo! Yes, that is the actual name of Nimbin's lawn bowls club) for a free barbie. As we ate sausages and drank a few bottles of Big Head. It's a relaxing hobby for a sunny day and decent fun. Daniel and Aimo xxxxx. Posted by The List Hero.
