We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed just staying home and relaxing. Ashleigh REALLY understood what was going on this year. I don't think that she slept.which made it hard for Santa to deliver the presents! This year the ladies decided to donate blankets and dog/cat toys instead of getting presents from friends. She has been keeping all of us on our toes! Recently, I put Catie in her crib to play while I took a shower. I asked Ashleigh to check on her for me. Lord, keep us healthy, happy and safe. Monday, June 30, 2008. We all took a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. for a little R&R. Ashleigh loved seeing the ocean up close and personal and Catie loved the feel of the water on her little tootsies. We loved watching the girls discover something new. It was a very last minute, unplanned trip. Ella is such a water baby. She loved the beach! You can drive right on the beach! That's the best part, you just have to be careful of passing cars. We set up our little camp right by the water so we didn't have to worry about Ella running across the car path.

I sooooooooooooo want to go back, but bring more people with us next time. I highly recommend this place for anyone, but especially if you have kids. This is the kid-friendliest place I've ever been to as far as resorts go. Ella thought that we lived at the hotel. It was funny! Playing at the park. She LOVES to go underwater! Playing in the sand.

It seems like I was just propping her up in her bumbo to take a first day of school picture.and now she is toddling around everywhere and getting into everything!
